Shuichi Takayama, PhD, is PHASIQ’s founder and CEO
Shu is also Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering and the Macromolecular Science and Engineering Program at the University of Michigan. He has over 200 published journal articles and 15 issued patents in the areas of microfluidics and protein biomarker analysis. He co-founded Incept BioSystems, a medical device company for assisted reproductive technologies that was acquired in 2011. His technology is also licensed and commercialized by 3D Biomatrix. He earned his PhD from The Scripps Research Institute and was a postdoctoral fellow at Harvard University.
Jim Vincke, MBA, is PHASIQ’s Chief Financial Officer
Jim has over 27 years of executive financial leadership and over 35 years in entrepreneurial companies.
He started his career at Mechanical Dynamics, Inc. (MDI) as one of its first employees, and as its CFO, was a member of its executive management team that completed a successful initial public offering. Jim has served as a CFO with a number of other companies, including Red Cedar Technology, Inc. that was acquired by CD-adapco, and Mobius Microsystems, Inc., which was acquired by Integrated Device Technology, Inc. He has worked on nearly ten acquisitions, including a few involving the incorporation and reporting of international operations. Jim’s expertise includes early stage capital raising, IPO, M&A, and P&L management. Jim earned his MBA from the University of Michigan.
John Dishinger, PhD, is PHASIQ’s Director of Product Development
John has 9 years of experience designing and developing bioanalytical assays, and he has carefully improved PHASIQ’s bioassay capabilities and process.
He earned his PhD from the University of Michigan and has published in numerous peer-reviewed journals including Analytical Chemistry, Methods of Enzymology, Journal of Clinical Investigation, and Nature Cell Biology.
Dunrie Greiling, PhD, is PHASIQ’s Director of Marketing and Software
Dunrie has over 15 years of experience and increasing leadership in entrepreneurial companies. She advocates for user-centered software design and agile project management processes.
After receiving her doctorate in Biology from the University of Michigan, she joined the Ann Arbor scientific software company, BioMedware. She is a past local chapter officer in the User Experience Professionals Association (formerly Usability Professionals Association). Previously, she was the Chief Operating Officer of Pure Visibility, Inc., an Internet and search marketing agency.

Francis Glorie, MBA
In over 25 years of executive leadership in an entrepreneurial setting, Francis has participated in startups, turnarounds, and exits, negotiating mergers, acquisitions, and licensing.
At Tangent Medical Technologies, Inc. and Accuri Cytometers, Inc., he led international business development and sales. He is currently an Entrepreneur in Residence at Techtown Detroit, a Board Member at the New Enterprise Forum and a Mentor at Ann Arbor SPARK. He earned his MBA from the University of Michigan and his BBA from Skema Business School in France.
